Amidst the covid crisis in the country, the covid menace is also continuing in Maharashtra. The number of infection cases and covid deaths in the state is not going to stop. In the last 24 hours, 51,880 new cases of covid have been reported in Maharashtra. Meanwhile, 891 patients have lost their lives due to covid. On Tuesday, 65,934 patients recovered from covid, taking the total number of people recovered in the state to 41,07,092.

Out of 2,81,05,382 samples, 48,22,902 samples have been found to be covid positive. There are 39,36,323 people in home quarantine while 30,356 people have been placed in institutional warranty. A total of 6,41,910 active cases are present in the state.

In Maharashtra, 2554 new cases of covid have been reported in Mumbai in the last 24 hours. 62 patients have lost their lives due to covid in the last 24 hours. In the last 24 hours, 5240 people have been discharged from the hospital after recovering from covid. A total of 29076 covid tests have been conducted. In Nagpur, 71 people have died of covid in 24 hours, while 4182 people have been found corona positive in the last 24 hours. In Nagpur, 19468 people have been screened for corona, with 7349 recovering from corona.
