Washington: The number of cases of the covid-19 epidemic in the US has crossed 299 million on Monday. John Hopkins University's Center for System Science and Engineering (CSSE) has provided this information. In its report in the news agency, quoting CSSE data, the number of cases and deaths due to covid-19 in America are 29,000,012 and 525,046 respectively.

Among the US states, California recorded the highest number of cases, which currently stands at 3,599,689. 2,695,653 cases have been confirmed in Texas, followed by more than 1,944,995, 1,694,651, and 11 from Florida, New York, and Illinois, respectively. Other states that have more than 650,000 cases include Georgia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Arizona, New Jersey, Tennessee, Indiana, and Michigan.

It has been learned that America has been the most affected by covid-19 as compared to other countries around the world. It has the highest number of cases and deaths. 25 percent of all corona cases in the world are from here and 20 percent of all deaths have been reported from the US alone.
