Chandigarh: After bringing the corona epidemic on the backfoot in Haryana, people have started to take it lightly. A month ago, where the graph of getting new cases every day came down below 100 in the state, now on average, more than 100 infected are being found every day. Especially in Gurugram, which is in the National Capital Region (NCR) as well as Corona cases in Karnal, Kurukshetra and Panchkula of GT Road belt have increased rapidly. These four districts of the state are among the 90 districts in the country where the maximum cases of corona are being reported.

By the start of the New Year, Corona was completely backfoot. Suddenly after January 20, the number of infected people started increasing. The first fortnight of February was a bit fine, but in the second fortnight, Corona has started wreaking havoc again. Corona report of more than 100 people has been coming positive for three consecutive days in the state. At present, there are 874 active cases in various districts.

Negligence is the biggest reason for increasing infection. Most people are avoiding wearing masks in public places and there is no restriction in crowded areas. Due to this laxity, Corona starts to dominate again. The health department has also become alert in view of increasing cases. On Monday, a total of 23 thousand 318 and Corona Warriors got vaccinated wearing a safety wheel to protect them from the menstrual cycle. So far, 2 lakh 60 thousand 652 people have been given the Corona vaccine.
