Jalandhar: Coronavirus is spreading across the country due to its infection causing many major problems for people. Every day the number of deaths due to the virus is constantly increasing. Due to which the figure of death is increasing continuously throughout the country. Thousands of people are losing their lives due to this virus every day.

According to the information received, an 8-year-old girl, resident of Goshala Road, Jaito, found corona infected. It has been learned that some time ago, coronavirus infections were found in the child's mother. Since then, the department has taken samples of all the family members and is being sent for investigation. Civil Surgeon Dr Rajinder Kumar and Media Incharge Dr Prabhdeep Singh Chawla have informed that now the number of corona patients in the district has been 148, out of which 107 have been cured, while 41 are still active.

It has been learned that 22 positive cases have been confirmed in Patiala on Friday. Out of which 18 are from Patiala city, three are from Nabha and one from Rajpura. Now the count of infected cases in the district has been more than 500. The artillery diversion area has been turned into a containment zone due to the high number of infected cases in the artillery diversion and its adjacent area. Covid investigation and samples are also collected from this area.
