Singapore ruling PAP party wins elections, recorded a landslide victory in 83 out of 93 seats

Singapore: People's Action Party (PAP), the party of Singapore PM Lee Sien Loongs, has regained power. The PAP has won 83 out of 93 seats in the Lok Sabha elections held on Friday. The opposition has had to be satisfied with only 10 seats. 68-year-old PM Lee hoisted Vijay from his old seat Ang Mo Kio's Group Representation Constituency (GRC).

Among the leaders who won the election, the PM's team included many big leaders, including Ghan Thiam Po, Daryl David, Ng Ling Ling and Nadia Ahmed Samadin. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Heng Swee Keat also won the election for the second time. His team includes the names of Maliki Usman, Jessica Tan, Cheryl Chan and Tan Kiat, who have won from East Coast GRC.

The opposition Workers Party has won only 10 seats. Please tell that this party is headed by Pritam Singh of Indian origin. The Workers Party won from Sengkang seat, where PAP's Ng Chi Meng was a candidate. Chi Meng was also a minister in the PM's cabinet. He is also the secretary-general of the Meng National Trades Union Congress.
