India Corona: Cases subside after 6 days, but risk of third-wave continues

New Delhi: India has reported 30,549 new cases of corona infection in the last 24 hours, 24 percent less than yesterday's cases. More than 40,000 corona cases were continuously coming to light in the country for the last six days. Now the new corona cases figure has come down. With these new cases, while 38,887 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, 422 cases of corona deaths were registered. With the latest cases, the total number of cases of patients infected with this corona across the country has gone up to 3,17,26,507.

The number of active cases was recorded at 4,25,195. The number of recovery cases after-treatment of the virus was recorded at 3,08,96,354 and the total number of deaths was 4,25,195. Also, according to a report released yesterday, Monday, 40,134 new corona cases were registered in the country yesterday. According to the Health Ministry, the recovery rate of corona infection in the country is now 97.35 percent and the daily weekly rate is 2.81 percent.

Delhi has reported 51 new corona cases on Monday while 95 people have recovered. Not a single death was recorded due to this. With this, the number of active cases in the state increased to 538. 14,10,809 people have recovered from corona and 25,054 people have lost their lives so far. Also, 17,06,598 coronavirus vaccines were administered in the country in the last 24 hours, taking the total immunization figure to 47,22,23,639. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 16,49,295 samples for corona infection were tested in the country on Sunday.
