British PM Boris Johnson said on Monday that the cabinet is monitoring coronavirus data every hour as the country has recorded another record level of 91,743 per day of covid infection. Talking to reporters after a long cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Johnson said that the government is not going to hesitate to adopt measures like strict lockdown before Christmas amid the ongoing surge in covid infection cases.

He announced that some things need to be clear about the Omicron variant before taking further action. Unfortunately, I have to speak to people that we have to look at all the options and possibilities of carrying out further checks to protect the public, to protect public health and our national health structure.

He has said that there are still some things that we need to be clear about before we go ahead and make a decision. At the moment, It seems to me that we should all focus on the use of all the usual stuff about wearing masks, washing hands in appropriate places. So, everybody is taking precautions on this. But remember how contagious Omicron is actually.

Prime Minister Johnson has said that in the middle of the difficult situation, continuous data is being reviewed, every detail of the results is being looked into as patients are continuing to arrive at the Hospital in London. On the other hand, Johnson has said, "Those who have still been deprived of vaccination for whatever reason, please think about it as a great task for themselves and their families and must get vaccinated." We are also going to review its economic side. Britain's travel industry is suffering massively these days, with the government demanding financial relief. Due to which people usually want to avoid congestion during Christmas at the busiest time of the year.
