Indore: Corona continues to wreak havoc in Indore. Late Sunday, 49 new positive patients were found out of 1512 samples in the city. 4 people lost their lives. The death toll in the district has reached 226. So far 83136 samples have been reported, out of which 4664 people have been infected. However, it has come to the relief that 3435 people have returned home defeating Corona. At present, 1003 active patients have been found in the district. 4455 people have gone home from quarantine centres.
With the unlocking of the city, now the construction of the containment area has also stopped. Now, where new patients are found, only the movement of that house and nearby houses are banned. On Sunday, four corona positive patients have been found in four new areas. The names of these areas are - Village Tillaur Khurd, Rambali Nagar, Talavali Chanda and Bhagyalakshmi Nagar. Before this, no case had appeared in these areas. There are 24 containment areas in the city. There is neither any new field added to this list nor any removed. Till now, if the positive patient was found anywhere, that street was sealed.
The state government is going to start a survey across the state through the Sarthak Lite app. The protocol has been released for the survey to be held from July 1, under which it is mandatory for each team to survey 100 houses daily. Not only this, but it is also mandatory for the survey team to have an infrared thermometer and pulse oximeter.
