Covid-19 cases in India continue to grow. Every day, Covid positive cases are creating dreadful records. In 24 hours 70,589 new cases of Covid were detected and the number of infected crossed 61 lakh with 776 deaths. According to the information of the Department of Health and Family Welfare, there are 9,47,576 active cases out of total 61,45,292 Covid cases while 51,01,398 people have been cured. And 96,318 people have lost their lives. It is a matter of relief that there has been a big jump in the number of people recovering from Covid. According to the data released by the Health Department, there are number of people who have recovered more than the positive cases of Covid that have appeared in the country every day for the last 5 consecutive days.

According to data from Johns Hopkins College, the number of people died by the Covid pandemic worldwide rose to 1 million on Tuesday. This is going to cause an average of 5000 lives a day due to the pandemic. According to the information, about 2,05,000 people have died in America.

After the United States, about 1,42,000 people have died in Brazil and more than 95 thousand people have died in India after the virus. After which Mexico is fourth in the list, where more than 76,000 people have died. According to the college, 1 million people have died due to the virus so far. It has also outpaced the annual death toll from AIDS, which was around 6,90,000 last year. The first case of the virus was revealed in late 2019 in Wuhan, China, where the first death occurred in January.
