Raipur: Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel has appealed to the Government of India to ban flights coming from China amid the alarming condition of Coronavirus coming from China. He said that Omicron's sub-variant BF.7 is spreading rapidly in China. There, record cases are also coming up.

While discussing with journalists in Jamrao village of his Patan assembly of Durg district, CM Baghel said that due to the increasing cases of corona in the world, the Government of India should first ban flights coming from China. People coming from there should be quarantined. Only then all Indians and especially the people of Chhattisgarh will be saved from Corona.

Let us tell you that the new BF.7 variant of Corona which has spread Corona so fast in China, 5 cases have also been found in India. Out of these, 3 cases have been reported in Gujarat and 2 in Odisha. Dr. Randeep Guleria says that BF.7 is a subvariant of Omicron. The great thing is that this variant has the power to dodge immunity. For this reason, even if someone has had corona earlier, they can also get infected with this variant again. Even after taking the vaccine, a person can fall prey to this variant, but the seriousness of the cases will be less.
