New Delhi: Apart from China, in view of increasing cases of corona in Japan, South Korea, and America, India has also become alert. Masks have been made mandatory even in the Parliament on Thursday (December 22). Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Rajya Sabha Chairman and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar were also seen wearing masks here. Masks were given to MPs before entering the house.

At the same time, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla requested all MPs to wear masks during the proceedings of the session. In view of Corona, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla requested the MPs to take vigilance and precaution. He said that looking at past experiences, we need to be careful. Om Birla said that all MPs should use masks. Also, do public awareness campaign in your area. He said that we will defeat Corona with collective efforts. 

At the same time, PM Narendra Modi has called a high-level meeting to review the situation of Corona in the country. Earlier on Wednesday (December 21), the Union Health Ministry held a review meeting on the situation in Corona. After the meeting, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that India is fully prepared to deal with every situation.
