Lucknow: The Corona epidemic has caused havoc in every state of the country. Meanwhile, if we talk about Uttar Pradesh, then new cases of COVID-19 virus infection are coming out in Uttar Pradesh. On Friday, corona has been confirmed in about 6200 persons in the state. For the first time in September, more than 6000 cases have been reported. Earlier, on August 30, 6233 new cases of COVID-19 were reported, which was a high number of cases received in a day.

On Friday, the state's Additional Chief Secretary Health Amit Mohan Prasad said that 6193 new cases have come up in the state in the last 24 hours. Along with this, the number of total infected in the state has now increased to 2 lakh 53 thousand 175. Out of total infected 1 lakh 90 thousand 818 people have become healthy after treatment. Currently, the recovery rate of COVID-19 patients is 75.37 percent.

 Amit Mohan Prasad said that currently the number of active cases of COVID-19 in the state is 58 thousand 595, and these people are undergoing treatment in various hospitals. Out of the total active cases, 30 thousand 84 patients are taking health benefits by staying in home isolation. So far, 1 lakh 15 thousand 194 people have gone for home isolation in the state, out of which time period of 85 thousand 110 has expired. Prasad said that 3762 people have died due to COVID-19 in UP, and the case fatality rate is 1.48 percent, which is less than the national average. With this, there is a steady increase in the cases of corona in the state.
