Shimla: Coronavirus is wreaking havoc all over the world. Every day millions of people are losing their lives. Not only this, avoiding the infection is becoming more difficult, after which the fear of Coronavirus has started increasing in people. According to the information received recently, the number of cases of coronavirus in Himachal Pradesh is constantly increasing. Eight new cases have come from Sirmaur district on Tuesday morning.

Out of 41 samples sent for investigation in the district on Monday, 33 negative and eight positive reports surfaced. All of the infected were employed in the same pharma unit in which a resident of village Bagh Pashog was employed and was later found positive. The person is currently admitted to Covid Health Center. Seven people out of the eight infected are currently in Haryana, including the owner of the company, including wife and son in Panchkula and the CEO of the unit in Yamunanagar, two in Sadhaura and one in Narayangarh.

One person has been shifted to Covid Care Center in Trilokpur. DC Sirmour Dr RK Parurthy has confirmed this. The total number of infected in Sirmour has increased to 20. While the active cases are 16 and four are cured. A total of 429 patients have come in the state so far, out of which 189 patients are undergoing treatment. Four have shifted outside the state. So far 223 patients have been cured. Five have died due to Corona.
