The corona epidemic has created a crisis situation in the entire country, due to the increasing cases of corona, the Government of Manipur has issued an order, under which it is necessary to give a negative report of corona to every person entering the state. A state government official has clarified in this regard that the order will come into force from 18 April. In the order issued by Health Department Deputy Secretary Sominilian Lengan, all the people entering Manipur, whether by air or by road, have to give a negative report of corona up to 72 hours before entering the state. 

Also, these reports should be RT-PCR. Entry will be available in the state only on the negative investigation report. The order further states that instructions have been issued to all Army and Central Armed Forces units to arrange a corona check for their employees before entering Manipur. Nodal officers of the Inspector General of Police, Manipur Police, said that 284 persons were fined for violating the Corona Protocol, including not wearing face masks, spitting in public places. 

Due to this, a fine of Rs 45350 was also charged from these persons. In Manipur, 18 new corona cases have been reported, due to which the number of infected patients has increased to 29,579 in the state. There are now 141 active corona cases in the state. coronavirus cases in the country are increasing at a rapid pace. According to the data released on Friday, 2,17,353 cases of infection have been reported in the last 24 hours. With the new infection, the figure in the country now stands at 1,42,91,917. In the past 24 hours, 1,185 people have died of corona infection.
