Corona cases in Delhi have started increasing once again. Over the past seven days, except for Monday, more than 1,000 new cases were reported every day. While on Monday, 707 people were found positive. An increasing number of Corona positive cases are also evident in hospitals. According to the figures of the Delhi government, out of 13,906 corona beds, 3,318 beds, 24% beds are now in use.

AIIMS director Dr Randeep Guleria told the media, "We have seen a huge increase in the corona patients in the last three-four days. According to Guleria, due to increased public movement, non-adherence to social distancing by people and not wearing face masks, corona positive cases will increase. Weather is also a factor in this". The AIIMS director said, "Weather plays a role, especially in the longevity of the virus. With H1N1 we have seen how cases grow in the rainy season due to low temperature and high humidity".

On Tuesday, 1,257 new cases of Corona were registered in Delhi, which took the city's tally to more than 1.47 lakhs. According to government officials, the good thing is that only eight people died in one day. Between August 2 and 4, there was a sharp decline in these figures. There were 961 cases on 2 August, 805 on 3 August and 674 cases of coronavirus infection on 4 August. However, it again increased between August 5 and 9 and it has crossed 1000 per day.
