New Delhi: The number of patients recovering from COVID19 in India is increasing. In terms of total recovery, India is ahead of other countries in the world. 44 lakh people have recovered so far. In the last 24 hours, 86,961 new Covid-19 cases have been reported, 1130 people have lost their lives. Since September 2, more than 1000 people have lost their lives in the country. 93,356 patients have also recovered in 24 hours.
According to the latest data of the Health Department, the number of total COVID infected in the country has now increased to 54 lakh 87 thousand 580. Of which 87,882 people have lost their lives. The figure of active cases is 10 lakh 3 thousand and 43 lakh 96 thousand people have recovered. The number of people recovered from COVID19 is almost 4 times more than the number of active cases of infection. According to ICMR, till September 20, a total of 43lakh samples of COVID have been tested, out of which 7 lakh samples were tested yesterday.
It is a matter of relief that there is a continuous decline in mortality and active cases rate. The death rate fell to 1.60%. Apart from this, the rate of active cases which are undergoing treatment has also come down to 19%. With which the recovery rate has been 80%. The recovery rate in India is continuously increasing.
More than 2 lakh infected people are undergoing treatment in the hospital in Maharashtra. After this, Tamil Nadu is at number two, Delhi is at number three, Gujarat is at number 4 and West Bengal at number 5. These 5 states have the most active cases. In terms of active cases, India is at second in the world. India is the second most affected country in the world by Covid-19.
