New Delhi: The country has been witnessing a steady rise in corona cases (Covid-19) over the past few days. In the last 24 hours, 4270 new cases of corona have been reported, while 15 people have lost their lives due to this deadly disease during this time. With 4,270 new cases of coronavirus infection reported in India in a day, the total number of people infected in the country so far has gone up to 4,31,76,817. With this, with the death of 15 more patients, the total death toll has gone up to 5,24,692.

Not only this, more than 1,94,09,46,157 crore doses of anti-corona vaccines have been administered in the country till today i.e. Sunday. In fact, this information was given by the Union Health Ministry. According to the health ministry data, the number of patients undergoing treatment in the country has registered an increase in the last 24 hours. The figure has now risen to 24,052. According to the data that has come out, the number of patients undergoing treatment for COVID-19 in the country has reached 0.06 per cent of the total cases. With this, the national recovery rate of patients is 98.73 per cent.

According to the latest data, the daily infection rate is 1.03 per cent, while the weekly infection rate is 0.84 per cent. A total of 4,26,28,073 people have been cured of the infection so far in the country and the death rate due to COVID-19 is 1.22 per cent. You all know that the number of infected in the country had crossed 20 lakh on August 7, 2020, 30 lakh on August 23, 2020 and 40 lakh on September 5, 2020. The total cases of infection had crossed 50 lakh on September 16, 2020, 60 lakh on September 28, 2020, 70 lakh on October 11, 2020, 80 lakh on October 29, 2020 and 90 lakh on November 20. With this, on December 19, 2020, these cases in the country had crossed one crore. The number of infected people crossed two crore on May 4 last year and three crore on June 23, 2021, and on January 26 this year, the number of cases crossed the four crore mark.
