Bangkok: Thailand confirmed 829 new coronavirus cases on Sunday. The cases mostly found among migrant workers, according to the Center for the coronavirus Situation Administration. The new cases reported 822 were domestic infections while seven others were imported cases, CCSA assistant spokeswoman Panprapa Yongtrakul told a daily news briefing.
According to Panprapa, through the active testing, some 731 new local infections were found infected among Myanmar migrants and Thai nationals at factories and communities in Samut Sakhon province and southwestern suburbs of Bangkok. The country has so far confirmes 18,782 cases where 16,323 were domestic infections while 2,459 others were imported cases. Also, a total of 11,615 patients have fully recovered and been released from hospitals while 7,090 others are currently hospitalized. No new death was reported Sunday.
Talking about our country as of today, India has 10746183 confirmed cases of the corona. Of these cases, 154274 people have succumbed to the infection while 10423125 have recovered. Globally, there are 10,25,58,281 confirmed coronavirus cases across 192 counties, which has led to 22,19,417 deaths, reports the World Health Organization.
