The trial of the first US company Johnson & Johnson's COVID-19 vaccine had to be stopped for safety reasons. Subsequently, the trial of the COVID-19 antibody-drug of the Eli Lilly Company of America had to be stopped. Eli Lilly Company is developing two antibody drugs. One is named LY-CoV555 and the other is LY-CoV016. The company has also applied to FDA for permission for emergency use of LY-CoV555.
The Eli Lilly company has prevented antibiotic drug trials for possible security reasons. The Independent Safety Monitoring Board requested to stop the trial. However, the company has not told how many volunteers applying the vaccine have witnessed health problems. But it has been reported that Eli Lilly's antibody-drug was being tried on COVID-19 patients admitted to the hospital. Johnson & Johnson decided to stop the trial of its COVID-19 vaccine. The cause of it has not been revealed until now.
