Telangana State Health Authorities have started the process of identifying the first frontline workers for the Covid-19 vaccine. The health ministry is expected to make the vaccine available in the next three to four months. Ts government is preparing a list of frontline workers.

Among these frontline workers, officials are identifying and preparing a list of health, police, municipal administration and other departments. These workers are actively involved in the management and treatment of Covid-19 patients to receive the vaccine in the first phase. The process of strengthening other associated services related to vaccination management, foolproof cold-chain management facilities, useof utility such as injections, governance and capacity building, training of healthcare workers involved in management. The vaccine will be taken in the coming months.

The Health Ministry has provided a booklet containing information on the procedure and protocols to be followed to identify early beneficiaries. The authorities are preparing to smooththe immunization in the coming months
