Dehradun: Today, there is no such person who is not disturbed due to the rising of Corona every day. The havoc of this virus has increased so much that hundreds of people are coming in its grip every day. This virus has killed thousands of people so far. It is still being speculated that soon this disease will be overcome. Not only this virus has affected the human life of people, but the fear of this virus has created panic in the whole world today. After getting the first case of Corona, the leave of the students from the first to the fourth year of MBBS at the Government Medical College Haldwani has been declared. The order came into effect from today. On the other hand, the health department is monitoring 12 people who have returned from abroad. The CMO has so far received a list of 143 people who have returned from abroad.
According to the information received, on Saturday, March 14, 2020 from Dehradun, samples of two people suspected of Corona came to investigate. On Sunday, a sample came positive during the corona examination at the Virology Lab of the Government Medical College Haldwani. After this, Principal Dr. CP Bhaisoda declared a holiday for students from MBBS First to Fourth Year till 31 March. Principal told that classes of MBBS final year and PG students will continue.
It \is being said that the Health Department will monitor 33 people for 14 days. Samples of 16 patients have come to the Medical College's Virology Lab for examination. The report will come after an investigation of six samples on Monday. ACMO Dr. Rashmi Pant said that on Sunday, a list of 12 people who have returned from abroad has been received. The team will be sent to everyone's house on Monday. Four samples of Nainital district were investigated and so far not a single case has been positive. Isolation wards have been made. Dr. Rana said that private hospitals which have built isolation wards here, can keep the patients of Corona. The patient or suspect will have to be informed immediately to the health department. If a patient or suspect of corona arrives in a private hospital, his sample will be examined.
