Gurugram: There was a sensation in the village of Rithauj, adjacent to Gurugram, when the state general secretary of the Congress attacked his son and daughter-in-law with a sword. The condition of the son-daughter-in-law remains very serious in this attack. Angry over his sister's ceremony in Gurugram, Congress state secretary Ombir attacked his son Rahul and daughter-in-law Monica with a sword on Monday morning. Both have been admitted to a private hospital in Badshahpur in critical condition. Ombir's wife Bala was also present on the occasion. After the incident, the accused fled from the spot. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and started investigating.
According to the information received, Ombir has a dispute with his brother and sister, due to which they are not colloquial. Currently, Ombir is living in Hari Nagar in Sohna while Rahul along with his wife Monika lives in village Rithouz. Ombir son Rahul also used to refuse to talk to his aunt, but he did not agree, which made Ombir and Bala very angry. It is alleged that some time ago, Rahul got married to Monica. Ombir started harassing Monika's family for dowry, which Rahul opposed. This made Ombir more angry.
It is learned that on Monday morning, Rahul and Monica Basoda went to the village square to worship. On returning, he found that Ombir and Bala were present in his house. As soon as he reached home, Ombir and Bala attacked both of them with sword, attacking Monica and Rahul. It has been learned that in the incident, Rahul and Monica fell on the ground after being bled. When the neighbors came out after hearing the noise of the incident, the accused fled from the scene of the incident. While transporting the injured to the hospital, the information of the incident was given to the police. The police reached the spot and started investigating. Police say the condition of the injured is critical.
