Ahmedbad: The havoc of the second wave of corona virus is slowly subsiding, but the epidemic is yet to be completely averted. New revelations are taking place every new day about corona. Now a new case has come to light from Gujarat, the most important sabarmati river here has been found to contain the Covid-19 virus.

Samples of Sabarmati water passing through Ahmedabad in Gujarat were taken, all of which have been infected with corona. In addition to the Sabarmati river, corona virus has also been found in two large ponds of Ahmedabad (Kankaria, Chandola). Beore Sabarmati, covid-19 virus was also found in different sewage associated with river Ganga, but now such corona symptoms in natural water have raised concerns.

In fact, IIT Gandhinagar had taken water samples from ahmedabad's Sabarmati river. These were studied, according to Professor Manish Kumar, during the investigation, water samples have revealed the presence of corona virus, which is extremely deadly. On this research, Prof. Manish Kumar of the Department of Earth and Science, IIT Gandhinagar, informed that these water samples were taken from the river every week from September 3 to December 29, 2020. After taking the sample, it was examined and infected bacteria of corona virus were found.
