The new coronavirus emerged in late 2019 from a disease like pneumonia due to unknown reasons. Later it was found that the cause of this disease is severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 or SARS corona virus-2. Initially, mild cold and cold-like symptoms occur. According to WHO, about 80 per cent of corona-infected people recover without any special treatment. Out of the six infected people, only one person falls seriously ill and reaches a condition of breathlessness.

People infected with Covid-19 can be divided into four categories. The first category consists of people with no symptoms. Further in the category are those people who have upper respiratory tract infection. In this condition, infected people have symptoms of fever, phlegm, headache or conjunctivitis (eye disease). People with these symptoms are the carriers of the infection but they are probably not aware of it. The third category consists of Covid-19 positive people, who have pneumonia-like symptoms and have to stay in hospital. In the fourth category, people see a severe form of disease like pneumonia.
