Questions are arising among people facing challenges due to corona infection, whether it only damages the lungs or other parts of the body. Mahesh Azad Medical College's Doctor Naresh Gupta answered this. He told that this virus enters the human body through breath and mainly affects four organs. That is lung, respiratory system, kidney, intestine. He corrected the German report which said that this virus can also affect the kidneys. He said that the virus affects the lungs mainly.

In an interview with All India Radio about this matter, Dr Naresh said, "Apart from the respiratory system, this virus also engulfs the kidney, although here it does not cause as much damage as it is fatal in the lungs."

He further said that in most of the cases, it attacks the lungs from where it enters the human body. Here, after its entry, symptoms of pneumonia are seen. Apart from this, it can also go to some other parts of the body like intestines, kidneys etc. It first attacks the lungs and here it causes more harm and therefore oxygen and ventilator are needed.
