And in view of Coronavirus in the country, the Himachal government has decided to impose curfew in the entire state from 5 pm on Tuesday till further orders. This decision was taken during a meeting held with the members of the cabinet headed by Chief Minister Jairam Thakur to review the situation in the state. The Chief Minister said that for effective and better coordination with the district administration, a district-level coordination committee has been constituted so that the people of the state do not face any kind of difficulty and ensure the availability of essential items.

According to the information received, he said that the district level committee of Kangra district will be headed by Himachal Legislative Assembly Chairman Vipin Singh Parmar. Mandi district is headed by Water Power Minister Mahendra Singh, Shimla and Kinnaur District Education Minister Suresh Bhardwaj, Bilaspur District Urban Development Minister Sarveen Chaudhary, Lahaul-Spiti District Agriculture Minister Dr Ramlal Markanda, Una District Rural Development Minister Virendra Kanwar, Industries Minister Bikram Singh of Hamirpur District, Govind Thakur, Forest Minister of Kullu District, Social Justice and Empowerment in Solan District Ri Dr. Rajiv Sajl, Chamba district Deputy HR and Sirmour lead district of District Level Committee former Assembly Speaker Dr Rajiv Bindal.

Chief Minister directed the officials to ensure the availability of essential commodities in the state. Apart from this, instructions were also given to ensure that people do not have any kind of discomfort due to the curfew implemented to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the state. He said that effective steps are being taken to monitor the hoarding of essential commodities in the state.
