On Tuesday, the government announced the opening of the source code to address privacy concerns in the Arogya Setu App. It announced a reward for finding security flaws. National Informatics Center Director General Neeta Verma said that there will be four categories of awards for people who find bugs in the app and suggest to improve its programming. Under this program, a person who finds a bug in the Aarogya Setu app will be given a reward of one lakh rupees. NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant said that no government in the world is an open source on this scale.
