Shimla: 27 new cases of COVID-19 virus have been reported in the country's state of Himachal Pradesh on Saturday. 3 new cases have also been reported in Hamirpur 14, Shimla 6, Chamba 3, Sirmaur 1 and Bilaspur. With this, the total number of COVID-19 infected in the state has reached 5661. The active cases are 1433. So far 4153 patients have become healthy. 42 patients have gone out of the state after getting healthy. In Chamba, the number of active people has increased to 403 with three new positive cases.

Also, there are 104 active cases, and 294 patients have recovered. An apple trader and five laborers have been found positive in Rohru in Shimla city. All were quarantine. The report of a ward sister of Paonta Civil Hospital in Sirmaur city has come positive. Due to duty from the nurse, he was examined on Saturday, whose report was positive. Some other staff in the ward have also been investigated. Also, in Hamirpur, a total of 14 people including two newborns have been found to be COVID-19 infected.

Chief Medical Officer Dr. Archana Soni said that the report of 25-year-old woman's samples taken from medical college and hospital has come positive. He said that in the Isolation Ward of Medical College Hamirpur, the report of 27-year-old man, 54-year-old woman, 48-year-old woman and 23-year-old youth has also come positive. Apart from these, two newborns who have been shifted to dedicated covid Health Center Bhota have also been found infected. With this, the cases of corona in the state are increasing continuously.
