More than 800 migrant fishermen stranded in Gujarat reached the Garikapadu checkpost on the border of Andhra Pradesh in 12 buses this morning after the central government allowed migrant laborers, students and others to return home. Earlier, a non-stop special train was run from Telangana to Jharkhand. There are 1200 people in it.

More than 12,700 migrants across the country are stranded in Andhra Pradesh due to the outbreak of the virus. They came to work in various fields and are ready to go back to their original state. According to the news agency PTI, Andhra has written a letter to the chief secretaries of all the states seeking the necessary approval to send the migrant workers back to their respective home states. Krishna Babu said, 'Out of 13,255 migrants working in different areas in different districts of the state, 12,794 expressed a desire to return to their home state and only 461 wanted to stay here. The government will take further steps on the basis of feedback from various states. So far, 1403 cases have been reported in the state. Of these, 321 people have recovered and 31 people have died.
