New Delhi: At this time the lockdown has been extended once again till May 17 across the country. In view of the increasing infection of Coronavirus, the Central Government has now taken this major decision. In the lockdown, migrant laborers of many states are stuck in other states, which the Modi government has also allowed special trains to run to reach their homes. It is a very happy thing. After the permission to run special train amid lockdown, the railway has appealed to the people. Recently, the railway said, "We request all of you to please make it clear to the public that these special trains are being run by the state government for the identified and registered people." Apart from these people, under no circumstances should other people come to the railway station in search of a train.

The Railways further said, "We will not issue tickets to any person. We will not do this even on the request of any person or group. We will only allow passengers to catch trains, which will be brought to the railway stations by the State Government officials. The state government is the final authority that will decide who will travel on our trains."

After increasing the lockdown, the railway has canceled all the passenger trains and extended the services till May 17. The Railways recently said that, "Under the fight against Corona, it has been decided that all passenger trains will be canceled till May 17." However, in the meantime special trains will run for the arrival of migrant laborers, pilgrims, tourists and students trapped in the lockdown. The operation of freight and parcel trains will continue like the present.
