New Delhi: The outbreak of the second wave of corona infection in India is now receding. At present, the number of new cases of covid in the country has started declining. Now, in view of these declining figures, many States have announced relaxation of corona restrictions during lockdown. Recently, the Union Health Ministry has reported that the weekly positivity rate in the country has come down to 6.89 per cent. The rate of new cases of infection is 5.78 per cent. Further, the recovery rate (percentage of people recovered in total cases) increased to 93 in the country. It has become 38 per cent.

Let us tell you all that less than 2 lakh new cases are coming up in India for the last 9 days. The Health Ministry has also informed that 31,20,451 doses of Covid-19 vaccine were given in the country on Saturday, with more than 23 crore doses being given across the country so far. On the other hand, talking about Mizoram, 267 new cases of corona virus were reported and 1 died in the last 24 hours.

The total number of positive cases in the State is now 13,567, including 3,363 active cases, 10,151 discharged cases and 53 deaths. Black fungus has started increasing amid the slow outbreak of corona. The increasing cases of black fungus in Karnataka have taken everyone by surprise. These cases are creating a new problem before the State. Recently, the State Health Minister. Sudhakar said the government is considering to include treatment of black fungus infection in the existing Ayushman Bharat Arogya Karnataka scheme.
