In France, more than 10,000 cases of covid-19 infection have been reported in a day for the first time. Health officials said Saturday that 10,561 new cases of Covid-19 infection have been seen in the first 24 hours.  On the day of which most of the cases were reported on Thursday, 9,843 new corona cases had been reported.  With this increase, new measures have been announced in the country.

Prime Minister Jean-Castex has announced new measures. Under these new steps, the quarantine period has been reduced from 14 days to 7 days. With the promotion of self-isolation, 2 thousand people are going to be recruited to expedite the Covid-19 testing.

French PM announces new measures: The French PM has also said that local authorities are going to have a responsibility to make stricter rules on the gathering of people as well as the time when the bar and restaurants are open and closed. These officers can also decide the lockdown at the local level if required.
