Eminent actor Mammootty-Manju Warrier starrer Malayalam has taken a preventive measure to temporarily stop the shooting of the upcoming film 'The Priest' due to coronovirus. The shooting of the film may start from March 31.

Also featured as an out-and-out thriller, the film brings Manju Warrier and Mammotti together for the first time in their cinema career. It is reported that Manju cannot be associated with Mammootty. At the moment, viewers can expect a good performance of the pair together. Also directed by Joffin T. Chacko, the thriller also stars Nikhila Vimal as Anto Joseph, along with filmmaker B Unni Krishnan, controlling the film under his banner.

For your information, the film jointly produced by Anto Joseph, B Unnikrishnan and VN Babu, stars Akhil George of 'Iblis' as the cinematographer and Rahul Raj as music director. Along with this, editing has been done by Shamir Muhammad. It remains to see what is in store for us next. With the shooting delayed, 'The Priest' may not hit the big screen this summer. It is reported that the film is likely to be released on Eid.
