New Delhi: Corona cases are constantly increasing in the country. On Saturday, 12,805 new infections were confirmed in the country, although 13,079 new infections were confirmed in the country on Friday. On Thursday, 12,847 cases were detected and from June 13 to 17, more than 50,000 cases have been reported in the country. Let us also inform you that the infection has increased rapidly in Kerala and Maharashtra and more than 3000 cases have been reported here. Talking about the deaths, 15 people have lost their lives in the country in the last 24 hours.

Earlier on June 17, 23 people had died due to the coronavirus and with this, the number of active cases in the country, i.e., patients undergoing treatment, has increased to 71,022, from 66,701 a day earlier. Amidst all this, more than 3,000 corona cases are being reported in Kerala and Maharashtra. In fact, 3,883 cases have been reported in Maharashtra in the last 24 hours and 3,253 in Kerala. On Friday, 4,165 new corona cases were reported in Maharashtra and 3,162 in Kerala. Now, if you look at the country, the highest number of deaths on Saturday has been reported from Kerala at 7 and in Maharashtra also 2 people have lost their lives due to corona. With this, the number of patients undergoing treatment in Maharashtra was found to be 22,828 and the positivity rate was found to be 8.77%. In Kerala, the active cases are 20,410 and the positivity rate is 14. it's 89%.

Apart from this, 1,534 new corona cases were found in the national capital on Saturday and 3 patients died. A day earlier, 1,797 cases were detected here on Friday and 1,323 on Thursday. In fact, the number of active cases, i.e., patients undergoing treatment here, has increased to 5,119, from 4,843 on Friday, a day earlier. With this, the positivity rate in the capital Delhi has also come down to 7.71%, from 8.18% a day earlier. Let us tell you that the number of recoveries in the state is 1255. In the last 24 hours, 19,889 Covid samples were tested here. Between June 10 and 15, over 5,300 challans have been issued across Delhi and a fine of over Rs 26 lakh has been imposed on those violating Covid rules.
