The coronavirus has arrived in around 195 countries of the world. With this, there is no vaccine or medicine to protect the coronavirus, but there is a way to eliminate this corona and that is social distancing. The more people you stay away from, the lower the risk of spreading the coronavirus. With this, many countries of the world, including India, have imposed a complete lockdown (a kind of curfew) for social distancing. In such a situation, people are imprisoned in their homes.

Huge increase in online dating
Most of those who are imprisoned at home for social distancing are playing video games or enjoying video streaming. Some of these people are also working from their homes, but those who are not doing anything are enjoying online dating.

Tinder app is being fiercely downloaded
While most businesses are running into losses due to the Coronavirus, the dating app Tinder (Tinder) has seen the biggest increase so far. The company said in a statement to Fox News that this is the first time that in a week (first week of March) the download of Tinder app has increased by 13% in the US, currently 5% globally. There has also been a decline.

Downloading of Bumble app also increased
Like Tinder, the downloading of Bumble dating app is also increasing. Between 12–22 March 2020, the message sent to Bumble in the US city of Seattle has increased by 23 percent. Video calls from Bumble have seen an increase of 21 percent.

50% increase in Facebook traffic
In addition to dating apps, Facebook traffic has also increased due to the lockdown in many countries of the world due to the Coronavirus. Due to COVID-19, people imprisoned in Facebook homes are using Facebook fiercely. In other words, the more distance people are making from social distancing, the closer they are to social media. Facebook analytics vice president Alex Shultes has said in his blog that the Coronavirus has increased Facebook messaging by 50 percent. Apart from this, video calling is also showing an increase.
