Raipur: In Chhattisgarh, 97 people have been confirmed infected with the Coronavirus during the last 24 hours. The total number of covid-19 patients in the state has increased to 2,858. State Health Department officials said here on Tuesday that today 63 new people and 34 new people have come in the virus infection in the state today.

According to the information received, the officials said that 54 people from Raipur district, 22 people from Durg, nine people from Baloda Bazar district, three people each from Sarguja and Balrampur district, two each from Korba and Kanker districts. And coronavirus infection has been confirmed in one person each from Rajnandgaon and Bemetara district.

He informed that 100 people have been discharged after treatment in various hospitals in the state today. Officials said that samples of 1,60,650 people have been tested so far in the state. Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 2,858 people. 2,250 people have been discharged from the hospital after treatment. While 595 people are being treated in the state, 13 people have died due to this virus.
