The second phase of lockdown has begun in India. A special women's brigade is working to fight the coronavirus. These women commandos of Chhattisgarh, who became popular for their long fight against alcohol and social evils. Now, these women have waged a war against Corona. These people are explaining the importance of personal hygiene and sanitization to prevent the spread of the virus.

Regarding this matter, the commandos say that they have access to almost every village and people listen carefully to their messages. Shamshad Begum, who led the women commandos, said, 'We thought that our role could be important in making people aware of the coronavirus and hence we started working with the district administration to fight the epidemic.

For your information, let us tell you that at present, 12,500 women commandos are active in 400 villages of the district. He said that apart from spreading awareness about the virus, they are helping to provide rice and cash to the poor and needy people through the district administration.
