Amid the outbreak of Corona, the National Command and Operation Center at international airports directed all provincial governments to reopen their airports to avoid chaos in Islamabad. It was informed on Saturday. According to Dawn News report, ever since the airport was closed, all the flights were landing at Islamabad International Airport (IIA). During the last few weeks, a large number of Pakistanis have been returning from various parts of the world including Europe, America and the Middle East.

For your information, let us tell you that before the people came back, the administration used to inform the people in advance to arrange to keep the passengers at the quarantine centers as a precautionary measure against the spread of the virus. Officials said that as the number of passengers increased, the number of quarantines also increased to 14 with maximum capacity. About 600 people can be kept in it. A few days ago, the capital administration informed the Foreign Office that it had changed the maximum number. Pakistanis returning from abroad could not find any suitable building to quarantine.

Duplicate Commissioner Mohammad Hamza Shafqat told Dawn News about the matter that the provincial airport reopened by 13 April. He said that there were no flights in the capital on 10 April and 12 April. However, there are plans to fly to the capital on April 11 with 200 passengers. For your information, tell that Pakistan has so far confirmed 4,892 coronavirus cases, in which 78 deaths have occurred.
