Washington: The deadly coronavirus wreaking havoc all around the world. As of now, the number of people who have died from this virus has exceeded 108000. The fear of this virus is spread among people. Doctors are still searching for treatment to fight this disease. Women have started a new process to save themselves and people from this disease. India has sent a consignment of hydroxy chloroquine used in the treatment of malaria to America. According to India's Ambassador to the US Taranjit Singh Sandhu, the consignment reached Newark Airport on Saturday. Hydroxychloroquine is considered to be useful for combating coronavirus.

He said in a tweet, "A consignment of hydroxy chloroquine from India arrived today at Newark Airport under the support of our allies in the fight against Covid-19." Earlier this week, at the request of President Donald Trump, India launched hydroxychloroquine in the US Export of 35.82 lakh tablets was approved. The API used in the manufacture of medicine was also sent. The US Food and Drug Administration has identified hydroxy chloroquine as a potential treatment for Covid-19. It is being tested in New York on more than 1,500 coronavirus patients.
