New Delhi: A study by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), a group that analyses election-related information, revealed last Thursday that several political parties in the country have received donations of Rs 876 crore from corporate and industrial houses. After doing this study, from the donation of Rs. 876 crores, it has been said that the BJP has received the highest money and the Congress has received donations after BJP. '
"The BJP has got Rs 698 crore and the Congress gets a total of Rs 122.5 crore," ADR quoted data made public by the Election Commission of India as saying. Further, it has also been stated, "all political parties are required to inform the Election Commission about donations and donors of more than Rs. 20,000 in a financial year. '
"Out of the five national parties, the BJP has received a maximum donation of Rs. 698.082 crore from 1,573 corporate donors and after that, the Congress has received a total donation of Rs. 122.5 crore from 122 corporate donors. In addition, NCP has received Rs 11.345 crore from 17 corporate donors." There are a total of 319 donations so far, which are not known to the donor form, but yes, the national political parties have received Rs 31.42 crore.
