Mumbai: The counting of votes for the Brihanmumbai Municipal corporation (BMC) and nine other municipal corporations has begun today. The polling for the 227 seats held.
There is a tough competition between Bharatiya Janata Party, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) and Nationalist Congress Party.
The polling for the BMC polls which held on 21 February, the voting percent recorded is 55 according to an official of the local body.
