In view of the tremendous performance in boxing, the Chandigarh Police has recently given a promotion to the post of head constable. Reena, the mother of two children, has so far achieved 25 medals in various competitions in boxing. Earlier, India's world champion boxer Mary Kom, who received the title of 'Super Mom', has been praised for the efficient discharge of dual responsibilities. Today, 29-year-old Reena Sharma, who has won many medals by defeating the opposing players with her powerful punches, is everyone's wish. She says, even if the desires to achieve the goal in life are high, even difficult situations do not matter. Now the time is changing. The daughters are touching the sky now. I too have won many medals after having two daughters. Daughters are my strength. Six-time World Champion Boxer MC Mary Kom is a living example in front of us born in a small village in Haryana, Reena's journey in life was very difficult, but she did not lose courage and kept moving towards the destination. In a special conversation with Dainik Jagran, Reena shared boxing experiences from the days of struggle till now.

Born in Bapdauda village in Jhajjar district, Reena says, we have four sisters and one brother. The financial conditions of the family were also not good. Father Jayakwar Sharma fulfilled his dream of making me a boxer while working as a driver in DTC. In those days, girls were less in boxing, especially in Haryana, but Brahmaprakash, the school principal, tested my talent and sent it to the district level competition. Already won the gold medal in the tournament and never looked back after that Reena has so far won more than 25 medals in various tournaments including 15 gold medals. The next target is to ensure a ticket to the World Police Games by winning the South Asian Championship.

Husband Mohan Sharma is also posted in the Police Department. I am winning every match only with their support and cooperation. Reena was admitted to the post of constable in Chandigarh Police in 2011 and is the first woman to get promoted in boxing through sports quota in this year. Eats vegetarian and have been winning on the basis of hard practices. Reena has two daughters, six-year-old Tanvi and eight-month-old Yashvi. Reena says that when Mary Kom can become a World Champion even after becoming a mother, anyone can do it. Actually, both my daughters are my strength, which motivates me to fight and win.
