Bengaluru: On Friday, the Supreme Court asked Karnataka to obey the order and also directed it to release 6,000 cusecs of water daily to Tamil Nadu from October 1 to October 6.

The State has been warned by the court that the Karnataka would find it difficult when the wrath of law will plunge on it for going against its orders. The court also directed the centre to set up Cauvery Management Board by October 4.

After the Supreme Court directed the state government to release 15,000 cusecs of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu, the massive protests erupted in Karnataka, especially on the streets of Bengaluru and Mysuru.
