The ACJM-8 court has rejected the application of eminent Bollywood choreographer Remo D'Souza for the release of passports for a week. His lawyer had requested the court to release the passport, saying he would go to Dubai and London. Advocate Mohnish Jayant of the plaintiff-side said that on the court's order, the police station registered a case against Remo D'Souza for fraud of crores of rupees. After this, a non-bailable warrant was also issued by the court. Remo approached the Allahabad High Court to avoid his arrest. His bail application was accepted by the High Court. During this time, the court ordered the submission of passport at Sihani Gate Police Station. D'Souza approached the SSP and asked for permission to go abroad, but the investigation officer Ashok Upadhyay refused. On 10 January, Remo's lawyer filed an application in the court, saying that D'Souza has to go to Dubai and London from 16 January 2020 to 22 January 2020, so order the passport to be released.

It was promised that within a year, he will double the entire money and return it. If Remo did not return the money at the appointed time, Satyendra filed a case at Sihani Gate Police Station.
