New Delhi: After hearing on Thursday in the Archaeological Survey case of Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Gyanvapi Mosque in the same enclosure, the Court of Civil Judge Senior Division Fast Track has fixed the date of April 2 for further debate. During this time, once again, on behalf of the lawyers of the mosque, demanding the postponement of the hearing, the next date was demanded, but the court did not accept their demand.

After a long time, the bench of the Civil Judge Senior Division Fast Track Court of Varanasi on Thursday once again started the debate on the Archaeological Survey of Radar Technology from the plaintiff side of Kashi Vishwanath Temple. In December 2019, advocate Vijay Shankar Rastogi filed an application on behalf of Swayambhu Jyotirlinga Lord Vishweshwar in the court of civil judge.

In this, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) had requested to survey the entire Knowledge Complex. He had filed a petition as a 'Vad Mitra' of Lord Vishweshwar, the self-styled Jyotirlinga. Later, in January 2020, the Anjuman Intejamia Masjid Committee filed a counter-notification demanding the ASI survey the Gyanvapi mosque and premises.
