Shillong: In Meghalaya, 23 new cases of Corona have been reported, including 18 BSF personnel. The figure of infected in the state has been 1,165. An officer gave this information in this regard. The officer said that out of the new cases, 11 East Khasi Hills, 10 Western Garo and one case each have come from North and South Garo Hills District. Director of Health Services Aman War said, "18 Border Security Force personnel are included in the new cases. Of these, 8 are from East Khasi Hills and 10 from Western Garo Hills". A soldier of the Indian Air Force has also been found corona infected.

The treatment of 642 patients is going on in Meghalaya, while 517 people have recovered and 6 people have died. He further told about this that the maximum treatment of 433 people is going on in East Khasi Hills District. After this, 92 patients are being treated in Bhoi and 82 in Western Garo Hills. Director War told, "Of the 433 infected in East Khasi, 166 are security forces personnel". He further said that so far 41,509 samples have been investigated here.

The cases of coronavirus are continuously increasing in India. In one day, a new case of infected people has made a new record. On Wednesday, 66,999 new cases were revealed. This is the sixth day when more than 60,000 new cases have surfaced. The figure of infected has crossed 23 lakh 96 thousand. But the matter of relief is that the number of people recovering from corona infection has reached almost 17 lakhs and investigation has increased.
