Tollywood most popular actor Rajinikanth always appears in the headlines due to his films and TV shows. And why won't Rajinikanth have done more than one film not only in Tollywood but also in Bollywood. After which the list of his fans has become even longer. Superstar Rajinikanth on Tuesday announced a donation of Rs 50 lakh to workers working with the Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI). 'Sai Raa' actor Vijay Sethupathi has announced Rs 10 lakh for his contribution.
According to media reports, more than 25,000 workers are associated with the union. Since the ongoing bandh can continue till the middle of April, they require cash and kind assistance.
For information, let us tell you that FEFSI requires Rs 2 crore to buy rice bags and other essential basics for the welfare of workers. Between them, Rajni and Sethupathi paid Rs 60 lakh. The remaining amount is expected to come from other big actors in the film industry.
