New Delhi: Coronavirus infections are seeing a decline across the country. In fact, during the last 24 hours, 6,809 new cases have been reported, while 7,219 new cases were reported a day earlier. The most important thing is that now the number of active patients has come down to less than 60 thousand. At the same time, according to the latest data, 55,114 patients of corona are currently undergoing treatment across the country. Let us tell you that the number of patients is continuously decreasing in Delhi and Maharashtra. On the other hand, according to the latest data from the Union Health Ministry, the death toll has risen to 5,27,991. Apart from this, the number of active patients is 0.13 per cent of the total cases of infection and the rate of patients who have recovered from Covid-19 has increased to 98.68 per cent.

Maharashtra reported 1,272 new Covid-19 cases and four deaths on Saturday. In fact, the total number of infected in the state increased to 81,03,649 and the death toll increased to 1,48,261. On Friday, Maharashtra reported 1,258 COVID-19 cases and six deaths. Of the new cases, 713 are from Mumbai alone, followed by Pune (328), Kolhapur (64), Nagpur (59), Nashik (47), Latur (39), Akola (13) and Aurangabad (nine). Of the four patients who died, three died in the Mumbai circle and one person in the Akola circle.

Delhi reported 236 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday with a positivity rate of 1.68 per cent, while three of them succumbed to the disease during the period. At the same time, this information was given in the data shared by the Health Department here. In the latest bulletin, the department said 14,023 samples were tested during the last 24 hours, of which 236 tested positive. Earlier on Friday, the national capital had reported 299 COVID-19 patients with a positivity rate of 2.17 per cent. With this, the total number of people affected by the epidemic in Delhi so far has increased to 20,00,423, out of which 26,477 people have lost their lives, according to the bulletin.
