New Delhi: India On Tuesday, reported 3,993 new COVID-19 cases in the previous 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
According to government data, the country's active caseload has risen to 49,948 at the moment, accounting for 0.12 percent of total cases.The weekly positivity rate is 0.68 percent, while the daily positivity rate is 0.46 percent.Meanwhile, 8,055 people have been recovered from the COVID-19 infection in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of recovered to 4,24,06,150. The recovery rate is now at 98.68 percent.
According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 108 people have died as a result of coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours.With 8,73,395 tests performed in the last 24 hours to detect COVID-19 infection, the total number of tests performed has risen to 77.43 crore.
So far, eligible beneficiaries have received 179.13 crore vaccine doses as part of the nationwide COVID-19 vaccination drive. Notably, India's anti-virus vaccination campaign began on January 16, 2021.
