New Delhi: The corona outbreak in the country is increasing day by day and 1,15,320 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in the last 24 hours, the highest number in a day. Earlier on Sunday, 1,03,558 new cases of infection were reported in 24 hours. More than 1 lakh new cases have been registered for the second time in the last three days. More than 630 people died from corona, raising the number of people who lost their lives to the virus in the country to 1,66,229.

The number of active cases in the second wave of the same coronavirus is also increasing rapidly. In just two days, the figure has gone up from 7 lakhs to 8 lakhs. The number of active cases in the country has increased to 8,43,754. As per the report received, the average of seven days in India has reached 93,041 after the new cases have come up. The situation is now being controlled after the cases escalated from the third week of February. The Central Government also said on Tuesday that corona is spreading faster this year than the last year and individuals should help prevent the second wave of the epidemic. The Central government cautioned that the next four weeks are "extremely important."

Maharashtra is the worst affected state with coronavirus in the country. On Tuesday also, 55,469 new cases were reported in the state. There were 10,030 new cases of infection in Mumbai. According to the Central Government, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat are the highest number of new cases of the corona. 80.4% of new cases have come to light from these 8 states. In Chhattisgarh, 9,921 new corona cases were reported during the last 24 hours.
